Friday Night Fights: Battlin' Jack - Round 10: You Can't Keep A Good Machine Man Down!

After a week off. I'm back in Friday Night Fights: Battlin' Jack  with a robotic rumble from Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.#12 by Warren Ellis, Stuart Immomen, and Wade Von Grawbadger. Synopsis: Nextwave was working for the global agency H.A.T.E. until they found out that the agency and its parent company Beyond Corp. were secretly funded by the terrorist organization S.I.L.E.N.T., who intends to unleash various weapons of mass destruction upon America, at which point they rebelled against H.A.T.E. and ran off with their aircraft carrier.

Q. Then why is the book called "Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E."?

A. Because BENGHAZI!

Anyway, after fighting a legion of menaces Beyond Corp has put in their path, including M.O.D.O.K Elvises, Monkey Wolverines, and Forbush Man (!), Nextwave has made it into the center of Beyond's floating headquarters State 51, when suddenly they are ambushed by Beyond CEO Number None, who impales Aaron Stack from behind..

Speaking of the robot....

And that is Aaron's version of The Aunt Jemima Treatment.

Tonight's fight music is this piece of cybernetic songsmithing by the Alan Parsons Project.
